Amy Teel
Board Member
Driven by a passion to serve and support others, Amy is honored to contribute to Impact Counseling Services as a board member. Before her role on the ICS board, Amy volunteered at Hope Alliance, where she was certified as a sexual assault advocate.
Her diverse career path began in the classroom, where she dedicated six years as an all-level educator, fostering well-being and growth for her students. Afterward, she transitioned into the fields of IT and Cybersecurity, where she developed strong problem-solving skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Amy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and is on track to complete her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2025.
While balancing her career and furthering her education, she completed the master's-level training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) in 2022, supporting her relational counseling approach, which supports clients in reconnecting with themselves and fostering deeper healing.
In her downtime, you can find Amy on a beach, in her garden, building connections in her community, or spending time with her dogs, friends, and family.
