Allyson is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, with a practice in Georgetown, Texas. In addition to being a supervisor with Impact Counseling Services, INC., she is an adjunct faculty member at the School of Social Work, University of Texas at Austin where she operates my own practice, Jervey and Associates Psychotherapy.
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, and as a graduate of University of Texas at Austin, Allyson specializes in interpersonal or relational therapies, working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are relationship concerns, anxiety and depression, PTSD and trauma, grief and loss, play therapy and attachment issues with young children.
Allyson is an interactive, relationally-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
With compassion and understanding, Allyson works with each individual to help him/her build on strengths and attain the personal growth he or she is committed to accomplishing.
