Natasha Smith, LPC
SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER
Natasha is a native of Deerfield Beach, Florida and a retired Veteran of the United States Army. During her time in the Army, she received numerous medals, awards, and accommodations for Wartime missions. Natasha also served as a Sexual Assault and Rape Prevention Leader, Behavioral Health Advocate, Drug and Alcohol Prevention Leader and CASA volunteer. She was inducted into the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club during her 20 years of service.
Natasha currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Columbia College, a both a Master of Arts degree in Human Services and Counseling: Addiction and Recovery and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling, both from Liberty University.
Before joining Impact Counseling, Natasha worked as a Psychometrician for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. As part of her practicum/internship, Natasha performed triage interviews and counseling services for soldiers with psychological conditions and co-facilitated high risk groups for PTSDs, suicide, and other trauma-related events.
Natasha’s recent employment includes work as a Qualified Mental Health Professional/Yes Waiver and Wraparound facilitator for children ages 3-17. Her role as a QMHP included using an integrated team approach to address health and mental health needs and build social and community relations. Natasha provided weekly mental health services that included treatment planning and the use of multiple approaches to provide the best possible services.
Natasha is not accepting new outpatient clients at this time.
