NARM & NUTRITION HEALTH COACh, Board Member
Hi there! Here is a little about me and my practice: I have been in private practice since 2006 using a variety of modalities and working closely with area psychiatrist to provide treatment to some of the most complex presentations. In addition to private practice, I was the founder, co owner, and Clinical Director of two different intensive outpatient clinics in Texas, which provided oversight and care to clients in need of more than weekly therapy. My passion and focus is to help everyone on their journey to live a more authentic & embodied life through trauma resolution and attention to the body's need for nutrient rich foods.
I love to teach and mentor clinicians and therefore spend time each year traveling to assist at SE, BASE, and most recently, Ergo's Master Classes & NARM trainings. This allows for constant growth and refinement of my therapeutic skills as well as my ability to mentor and make the concepts accessible to other clinicians.
After living in Austin, TX for 20 years I made the move back to central Kentucky to pursue a dream of creating a somatic trauma retreat and organic farm. This dream is becoming a reality with each passing day. You can read more about my background, training, and current practice at www.amandajhuffman.com
