Diana McCue, LMSW

School-Based Mental Health Professional

Diana is a School-Based Mental Health Professional currently serving students in first through twelfth grades at Thrall ISD l, and Hutto 9th Grade Center School.

Diana is a social worker by training and holds an LMSW license. She loves having the opportunity to help kids of all ages grow into the best and truest version of themselves. Sessions with Diana are typically full of play, humor and non-judgmental curiosity. She believes that the relationship is the foundation of all change, and she incorporates aspects of Child-Centered Play Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her work. She is a Certified Praesidium Guardian and utilizes trauma-informed techniques.

Diana believes that families are crucial to a child’s success and strives to involve parents and caretakers in the process of the child’s therapeutic growth.

In her personal life, Diana relies on the support of her fiance, dog June, and cat Clementine. She enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, and exploring the world through travel.
