Brigid Counts, LCSW

School-Based Mental Health Professional

Brigid Counts comes from a strengths-based and solution-focused theoretical orientation. Brigid uses a variety of techniques including play, art, sand tray, and talk therapy to help children learn how to work through challenging situations and feelings while at the same time feeling safe, accepted, and having fun.

Brigid is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Whitworth University and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas Austin.

Brigid has worked for Impact Counseling Services, INC. since 2013, providing school based mental health services to students at Purl Elementary in Georgetown ISD and in Coupland ISD. At Purl she works with students in Kindergarten-5th grade, and in Coupland she works with students in Kindergarten-8th grade.
