Amber Myers

Board member

Amber is excited to work with Impact Counseling, as a long time advocate for children and families. Her professional background includes criminal prosecution, child welfare law, and civil law for counties, having previously served as a prosecutor in Burnet, Blanco, and Williamson Counties.

Amber earned her degrees from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business and Baylor Law School.  

Amber currently serves as the Director of Legal Outreach and Staff Attorney at the Texas Justice Court Training Center in Austin, where she provides training on legal matters to justices of the peace, constables, and court staff. 

Locally, Amber is an active volunteer with the Junior League of Austin and the Texas State Bar Committee on Services for the Poor in Criminal Matters. She also serves on the board of the Ballet Austin Guild and the National Association of State Judicial Educators (NASJE). 

In her free time, you can find Amber enjoying a trip with her partner Brandon and their two dogs, Dennis and Charlie, often to visit their nieces and nephews.
